Mrs. Cooper has held many leadership roles along the years. She’s been a Director of Nursing, a Regional Nurse Consultant, and a Director of Clinical Services for a LTC organization where she oversaw the clinical services of skilled nursing facilities in numerous states. She also has vast experience and knowledge on configuration and implementation of the electronic health record (PointClickCare).

She also has vast experience and knowledge on configuration and implementation of the electronic health record (PointClickCare).

Mrs. Cooper is an active member of the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN) and is certified as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT). She also is a member of the Nurse Executive Council (NEC) and the Florida Senior Clinicians Panel.

Mrs. Cooper’s expertise supports her client’s work including, but not limited to:

 

• Regulatory and Risk Management Mitigation

• Participation in pre or mock survey compliance for Skilled Nursing Facilities

• EHR system evaluation, implementation, and support (on-site and remote)

• Teaching and training on a variety of subjects such as survey management, MDS 3.0 Quality Measures / Star Ratings, Risk Management, Infection Control / COVID-19 Response, and PointClickCare

In her spare time, Mrs. Cooper enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, son, and extended family.  She also enjoys cooking, running, and Pilates.
