Katie is excellent in the auditing process, which includes targeted reviews of the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM), Medicaid Case-Mix in several states, the Five-Star Quality Rating Program, the Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Reporting Program (SNF QRP), and the Skilled Nursing Facility Value Based Purchasing Program (SNF VBP). She is enthusiastic about staff education specifically related to the RAI process, reimbursement, and Quality Measures.

Katie has expertise in electronic health records (EHRs) including PointClickCare, MatrixCare, and SigmaCare, with familiarity in others. Katie has been a nurse for 13 years after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and her experiences include critical care, trauma, medical-surgical care, and long-term care.
